Cutting Edge Kreativ was set up in 2009 by Ian Kirk, Creative Co-Ordinator, to create a centre for hairfashion in the North West.

Ian has worked with clients such as Hairtools, UK Hairdressers.com, Gary Sunderland, The Big Brush Company and FHI Salon in addition to numerous salons.

Cutting Edge Kreativ works with both top industry professionals and identifies exciting, new talent in the hair and beauty industry, comprising of hair fashion photographers, make-up artists, session stylists and a reputable and forward thinking model agency, to bring you outstanding hair fashion images and innovative, educational workshops.

Rebecca Jayne Johnson

Rebecca is a woman of many talents. Rebecca studied for her GCSE’s at Saint Aidens Technology College. She studied her hairdressing NVQ Level 2 and 3 at Blackpool and the Fylde College on Apprenticeship. When she finished her level 2 she worked as a stylist at her mother’s salon; Studio Ten in Cleveleys.

Since the age of 14 Rebecca has produced numerous of successful shows at venues such as marine hall Fleetwood, loft nightclub and Thornton little Theatre. Raising money for various charities e.g. Lancashire Air Ambulance, Cancer research, babies unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital and much more.

Rebecca wishes to go further into the fashion shows and catwalk side of thing as she has a passion for the organisation and behind the scenes. And also to learn a lot more on the journey about new products, tools, stylists and colleges.

One day Rebecca would like to do her assessors award and teaching degree to pass on her skills and enthusiasm to the next generation of hairdressers.

She quotes; “I would love to inspire others, as others have done with me”.
