John Monks

John has over 20 experience in the hair industry, including 13 years running his own barber shop. He has L3 Hairdressing Training and Assessor award in hairdressing and spent a number of years teaching it at college.

John returned to the male grooming sector 18 months ago, working with one of the Uk's leading Barbers, training and working in the salon.

John now operates the 'Gents Room' located on the first floor at Jo & Cass's prestigious Salon in Preston - a prefect training environment. The Salon is located just over the road from Preston train station and is also near to ample car parking.

The male grooming industry is expanding and unisex salons which embrace both the cut-throat shaving experience with hot towels and can offer more expertise in barbering, are seeing enhanced turnover by offering an all round, professional service to men.
